WHAT HAPPENED?
The France international moved to Stamford Bridge from RB Leipzig in 2023. He cost £52 million ($70m) at that point, but has struggled for form and fitness throughout his time in English football – starting just nine Premier League games this season.

Nkunku has registered only 17 goals for Chelsea through 56 appearances in all competitions, with six of those efforts coming in top-flight competition. He did, however, hit 58 goals for Leipzig across the two campaigns immediately prior to his big-money move.
